Dr Helen Penny is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has lived and worked internationally and is currently based in South Wales. Helen specialises in Trauma and works across the lifespan to deliver evidence-based therapies to people who have experienced traumatic events. Helen also provides training and supervision for clinicians, academic institutions and third sector partners, and has a particular interest in providing protected/reflective spaces for teams who are at risk of Vicarious Trauma.
Helen is the Clinical and Strategic Lead for the ABUHB Trauma Pathway, an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University, and provides CT-PTSD training, supervision, and supravision for Traumatic Stress Wales.
